We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation for stainless steel fabrication projects. This role ensures accurate shipment processing, timely deliveries, and efficient communication between vendors, carriers, and internal production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving Coordination

Schedule outbound shipments and coordinate with freight carriers

Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation

Verify incoming materials against purchase orders

Inspect deliveries for accuracy and report discrepancies

Inventory & Documentation

Maintain accurate inventory records

Track material movement and update internal systems

Assist with reorder coordination and vendor communication

Vendor & Carrier Communication

Liaise with freight providers and suppliers

Resolve shipment delays or damages

Negotiate freight scheduling when necessary

Administrative Support

Maintain organized logistics records and compliance documentation

Support production team with material tracking

Assist with reporting related to shipping costs and timelines
 

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of logistics, shipping, or administrative experience

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Familiarity with shipping software or ERP systems preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email communication

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
